You enter this picturesque area as soon as you exit the Roseville Bridge into Forestville. Your senses alert you to the fact that you’re now in “The Forest”. Clean crisp air, with a hint of Eucalyptus…

Heading right at the lights, off Warringah Road, leads you into Darley Street and takes you up to Killarney Heights. Turn left at the top of Warringah Road into Forest Way, and you’ll find yourself in Frenchs Forest, before you reach Belrose and eventually Terry Hills. Davidson is tucked behind Belrose. Garigal National Park borders the area. With a Walkability Score of around 58, the Forest area is officially classed as “Somewhat Walkable”, meaning that “some errands can be accomplished on foot”.

However Sally Gillman, (Shields Gillman Real Estate’s very own walker) believes that the official Walkability Rating is on the low side. There are about 18 restaurants within Forestville and Frenchs Forest alone, and people can walk to at least one of these in about 10 minutes.

Taking in Forestville, Killarney Heights, Frenchs Forest, Belrose, and Davidson, this tranquil area is colloquially known as “The Forest”.
